John Bremus

Who I am

I’m John Bremus, 23, out of New Jersey. I’m just a local shore guy who enjoys the outdoors, whether it be riding my road bike or going out for a hiking trip. Whatever it may be you bet I’ll find an adventure one way or another.

What I do

I currently work at Spike’s Fish Market and Restaurant where we cut up and filet fish, shuck some of Jersey’s finest clams, and bring a positive attitude to all those visiting the shore. I’m also attending school to become a physical therapist assistant which I should complete within the next year or so and I’ll be able to move onto the next phase of my life.

In my free time I enjoy doing things out of the ordinary. You might catch me playing with wolves, visiting foreign lands, or jumping off some cliffs. Where adventure calls, I’ll come a running.

Where I live

I’m based out of Brick, New Jersey. I grew up 10 minutes from the beach and you won’t catch me living anywhere else. There’s always something going on down the shore whether it be a visit to the boardwalk or movie nights on the beach; I couldn’t think of a better place to live.

Why I beard

I beard because it’s a lifestyle. It takes dedication to maintenance to keep it looking fresh, which I think is a reflection on yourself. Since I decided to grow my beard out 10 months ago everything has been going my way and has taken me to new paths in life. After a while the beard becomes a part of who you are and that’s something you can’t get rid of. I don’t plan on shaving for a long time.
