THE SEA BECKONS

We all share an undeniable connection with the sea. At some point, we all feel the pull to return to the water—to stare out beyond the break, and search for answers not yet known. The sea is where we face our fears. It’s where we venture into the deep and return to solid ground with more sturdy footing—and some damn good stories to tell.

HOW TO USE IT

Shake 3–5 drops into your hand and work the oil into your skin and beard. Use a Beard Comb and/or Boar’s Hair Brush to evenly distribute the oil. For longer beards use 7–10 drops.

Black Sails
When first smelled in the bottle, Black Sails opens with the strong, briny smell of coastal seaweed. This gives way to softer fragrances of oakmoss, salt-air, and ambergris when warmed in the hands. Finally, the spicy sweetness of citrus and bourbon become increasingly prominent as Black Sails settles into your beard. It’s a fragrance that is daring and alluring, taking you on a journey from the coastline to the open sea to the captain’s quarters.

I got up early to buy the Black Sails beard oil as a gift to me from me.
My granddaughter would have none of that.
She absconded with my package before I could get to it.
She wrapped it as a Christmas present to me from her so I was not able to sample it as so as I would have liked to.
Now that I have, I believe it to be my favorite. I hate that I tried it and liked if it will be gone forever.

Good stuff

I managed to get several beard oils, including the Black Sails. My daughter and girlfriend love the scent and it softens my beard. Next big challenge is when my two bottles of it run out, how will I get more? 🤔. Though I do have few other Beardbrand beard oils to help out while I figure it out.

Just received by order today. Love the scent, earthy and oceanie. So glad I ordered as soon as it became available. Will buy again.

Worth the wait

This is an incredibly unique scent and I absolutely love it! I've used several different Beardbrand oils and balms and haven't had a bad one yet. This fragrance, however, is very special. Hints of earth and sea blend into something truly special. Shipping took a little longer than I had anticipated, but with all of the USPS delays and the holiday season, I completely understand. If this quality is what we can expect from Beardbrand's special run products, I will happily set alerts on my phone for every release.

Wow, what a fragrance!

So, be prepared for an intense scent. I get some coconut then patchouli. But really it is musky and wonderful. Be aware that it lasts a long time and a little goes a long way. I especially like it when freshening up my beard in the evening. The oil formulation itself is great. Feels wonderful and just takes a little. I really love it.

Great depth

This is a fantastic beard oil. It is by far the most depth of fragrance of any BB product. On initial fragrance it only hints at what is inside. If you use beard oil already, perhaps use only half as much Black Sails. It comes on bold, pleasing, musky perhaps, but a well rounded multifaceted fragrance. As the fragrance matures through the day it just keeps getting better. It fades some, but not much. You will still enjoy it as evening wears on.

For me it is the boldest of the beard oil fragrances. It, as do ALL the beard oils, makes your beard smooth and lets a comb glide freely through your whiskers. A true and unique blend, one in which you will be finding new nuances of even after a couple of uses. An intriguing and delightful oil ! A very pleasing scent for those around you also if all the compliments on it are an indication.
