HOW DO I USE UTILITY BEARD SOFTENER?
BEARD CONDITIONER: Apply a nickel-sized amount of Utility Softener to your beard, focusing on the hair tips. Bask in the awesome fragrance under your nose while letting it soak in. Rinse. Use Utility Softener on its own or after washing your beard with Utility Wash.
HAIR CONDITIONER: Apply a nickel-sized amount of Utility Softener to your hair, focusing on the hair tips. Let it soak in for the duration of your shower. Rinse. Use Utility Softener on its own or after washing your hair with Utility Wash.
SHAVE LOTION: Use Utility Softener in place of shaving cream for a slick and smooth shave that moisturizes skin and reduces irritation.
ADVANCED BEARD + HAIR SOFTENING
If you want to make your beard and hair even more soft, touchable, and easy to style, try these advanced softening techniques:
- Co-washing (conditioner washing): It sounds counter-intuitive, but instead of using Utility Wash every time you shower, try using Utility Softener instead. Utility Softener contains enough cleansing ingredients to take care of any routine bacteria in your beard while keeping it moisturized. Reserve the stronger Utility Wash for a weekly deep-clean or for days when your beard is extra soiled with sweat and dirt.
- Let it soak: Apply Utility Softener at the start of your shower and let it soak in while you wash the rest of your body. The more time it spends on your hair, the more time it has to work its magic.
- Leave it in: For the ultimate softening boost, apply a small amount of Utility Softener to a damp beard, and skip the rinse altogether. Set it and forget it while you go about your day. Just be sure to give your beard a thorough rinse before adding more Utility Softener the next day.
